Design and construction
KOMPAN is looking for an experienced Rhino/Grasshopper Developer to advance our computational design tools, automation workflows, and engineering logic. In this role, you will develop smart parametric solutions that directly influence real-world manufacturing processes for playground and outdoor fitness products. You will collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and developers across our teams in Denmark and the Czech Republic.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and optimize Grasshopper scripts for structural modelling, automation, and design workflows.
- Implement engineering, structural, and safety logic into algorithmic definitions.
- Create custom components and automation tools using C# (.NET), Python, and RhinoCommon API.
- Integrate Grasshopper with external systems (ERP, databases) to streamline data flow.
- Support designers and engineers, troubleshoot issues, and maintain documentation.
- Work in a structured development environment, including debugging and versioning.
- Use JIRA for requirement management and collaboration with stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong proficiency in Rhino and Grasshopper for computational design and automation.
- Experience with technical drawings and construction documentation is an advantage.
- Knowledge of C# and Python is a strong plus.
- Ability to translate engineering and safety principles into algorithmic logic.
- Analytical mindset and strong problem‑solving skills.
- Experience with system integration is beneficial.
- Active communication skills in English and Czech.
- Proactive, flexible, and creative approach with a willingness to learn.
