Welcome to the world of KOMPAN! We are looking for an
experienced IT Project Manager to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating IT projects across the organization, ensuring their timely and high-quality delivery, and managing communication between internal stakeholders. The role also includes overseeing selected security operations, including regular checks, risk identification, and entering corrective tasks into the JIRA ticketing system. The position requires a strong technical background to enable effective communication with requesters, system owners, IT specialists, and developers.
What will be your main responsibilities and tasks?
IT project management
- Managing projects from initiation to implementation, including managing scope, budget, schedule, risks, and resources
- Coordinating communication between requesters, system owners, IT specialists, and development teams across regions
- Maintaining project documentation, roadmaps, reporting, and overviews in Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)
- Monitoring project KPIs, escalating risks, and preparing regular reports for management
Security oversight and operational controls
- Regularly checking security tools and monitoring systems, including running security scans, evaluating results, and identifying risks
- Creating corrective tasks in the ticketing system and overseeing their completion
- Collaboration with IT Security teams to improve processes, standards, and overall security levels
- Support for change management and implementation
- Support for change management processes, including user testing, validation, and transition of new solutions to production
- Adherence to best practices and participation in continuous improvement activities
What do we require from you?
Education and experience
- University degree in project management, information systems, business administration, IT management, or a similar field
- 3-5 years of experience managing IT projects in a medium-sized or large organization
- Good understanding of the IT environment and ability to communicate with developers, system owners, and IT teams
- Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)
- Experience with security operations is an advantage
Technical skills
- Knowledge of project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
- Ability to manage the scope, schedule, budget, risks, and dependencies of projects
- Experience with performing and evaluating security scans and checks
- Knowledge of ticketing systems and working with tasks and their control
- Good knowledge of MS Office 365 and team collaboration tools
Language skills
- English: advanced - ability to lead meetings and create documentation
- Czech: fluent

Certifications (advantageous)
