BE PART OF THE LAUNCH OF MODERN METALWORKING AT KOMPAN!

We’re launching a new metalworking operation and looking for welders who want to be part of it from the very beginning—we’re building a new team.

You’ll join a brand-new single/two-shift operation (morning and afternoon shifts)—modern Fronius machines, a clean environment, and no outdated routines.

This position is suitable for both experienced welders and recent graduates with a welding certification.

Junior: If you’re just starting out, we’ll teach you everything, and you’ll work under the guidance of a more experienced colleague.
Mid-level: If you already have experience, you’ll have the opportunity to work independently.
Senior: Experienced welders will become pillars of our team.

Your work will have a visible impact—the welded parts we produce are immediately assembled into final structures and shipped to customers around the world.

What will your task be?

Preparing materials and fixtures, and grinding and welding
Welding on modern Fronius machines using the MIG/MAG 135 method in accordance with WPS and technical drawings—ranging from simple parts to complex, non-standard structures (approx. 70% of the work)
Preparation of weld edges, clamping, tack welding, and grinding of welds
Setting welding parameters and routine maintenance of Fronius welding equipment
Visual inspection of welds and dimensional accuracy according to drawings
Material handling—crane (training provided)
Recording of completed operations in the ERP system.

Who are we bringing on board? Your profile:

You have a welding certification and a responsible approach to work: valid EN ISO 9606-1 certification – Method 135 (MIG/MAG); TIG certification is a plus
You are familiar with technical drawings
You are a skilled manual worker with a knack for technical work
You enjoy collaborating with colleagues from other departments
